Farmers Equipment Company was proud to support the annual Skagitonians to Preserve Farmland (SPF) banquet this past weekend. It was an incredible evening focused on protecting local farmers and raising nearly $200,000 for farmland preservation.

A major milestone of the night was securing $100,000 of those funds to assure that Hedlin Farms in La Conner will always remain farmland. Our team had a fantastic time connecting with local farmers, showcasing the red Case IH Magnum 400, and seeing a classic pedal-powered Farmall bring in bids at the silent auction.

We are truly honored to stand alongside the Skagit ag community and support the vital work SPF does for our valley. Check out a few photos of our team from the event below!

In this video, Mark Visser explains box blade basics that will help you understand how to use a box blade with a TYM T25 sub-compact tractor.

A box blade is a versatile 3-point hitch attachment for grading, leveling, spreading and moving soil, gravel, dirt and other materials. Mark demonstrates the fundamentals of using a box blade with the TYM T25 and shows how the tractor and attachment work together.

If you're new to using a box blade, this video provides a practical introduction to operating one on a sub-compact tractor. Understanding how the box blade interacts with the ground, how material moves through the attachment, and how to control the tractor and implement are important fundamentals for getting good results.

Box blades are useful for maintaining gravel driveways and roads, smoothing rough or uneven ground, spreading material, cutting down high spots, and filling low areas. The The Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center kicked off 10 days of fun today and our booth is right in the middle of it with a Komatsu Forklift, a Kobelco excavator, TYM Tractors, and powerful CASE IH Tractors.
