From Drawing to Detail

A design vision is only the beginning.

At Buffalo Trace Distillery Café, architectural metal supports help bring the shelving design to life, connecting warm wood surfaces with refined metal detailing.

From the original design-intent drawings to installation and the finished retail environment, every detail contributes to a space that feels considered and complete.

Exceptional spaces are built on thoughtful decisions, down to the smallest detail.

But specifying architectural metalwork shouldn't slow down the design process.

Our new Design Resources page brings essential tools together in one place to help architects, designers, and millworkers plan with greater clarity and confidence.

Explore Technical & CAD Drawings for precise product details, request finish samples to evaluate materials in person, and use our interactive 3D Visualizers to explore foot rail, drink rail, and shelving configurations.

Everything you need to simplify specification, maintain design cohesion, and move your project from concept to completion.

Every detail matters. So does the timing.

When specifying architectural metalwork for a hospitality project, production timelines can vary depending on the product, finish, and level of customization. Without that information early in the process, even the most carefully planned project can face unexpected scheduling challenges.

Kegworks helps you plan with confidence. Our production lead-time guide provides estimated timelines across bar foot rail, drink rail, and shelving, while our commercial sales team can help you evaluate options and understand how custom requirements may affect your schedule.

Because bringing a design vision to life takes more than selecting the right details. It takes knowing when they'll be ready.

Finish in Focus: Pewter

Not every metallic finish needs to shine to make an impact.

With its muted gray tone, brushed texture, and subtle sheen, Pewter offers a more nuanced approach to architectural metalwork. Its understated character complements surrounding materials rather than competing with them—bringing depth and definition to wood, stone, tile, and other layered finishes.

The result feels considered rather than conventional: versatile enough for a range of design styles, yet distinctive enough to give the details their own point of view.

Pewter is available in stock for bar foot rail and can be special ordered for shelving, drink rail, and additional architectural metal components to carry the finish further throughout the space.

Quiet finish. Distinctive presence.

Sometimes the challenge isn't designing something new. It's finding the right partner to make it.

When a client needed a new source for their custom drink rail tables, they brought the requirements to Kegworks.

From the design, we delivered a 96" custom drink rail table featuring 3" OD tubing in a matte black finish, built to their specifications.

Bring us the plan. We'll help you work through the metal.

A big-league detail for a big-league setting. ⚾

Inside the Agave Club at Petco Park, a Matte Black bar foot rail with Rounded Center Post Brackets creates a crisp finishing detail against the warm millwork and patterned tile.

Installed by Taber Company, the foot rail follows the bar’s perimeter with a clean, continuous profile that feels right at home in the ballpark.

As October baseball heats up, we’re always glad to see Kegworks details in the lineup.

A drip tray may be functional. That doesn’t mean it has to be ordinary.

Start with our classic perforated design, choose from four premium patterns (Lux, Mosaic, Fan, and Herringbone) or take the detail further with a custom laser-cut pattern or logo.
Each option is available across all five of our drink rail profiles, with finishes that can be coordinated with the rail itself.

It’s one more opportunity to carry intention into a part of the bar that could easily be overlooked.

Because thoughtful design doesn’t stop at the obvious.

From plan to place.

For 40 suites at Kroger Field, the shelving had to do more than fit the design—it had to integrate with the surrounding millwork and make sense across repeated installations.

Working from the project drawings, Kegworks developed the shelving dimensions, elevations, 3D visualization, and components, then refined the system into prefabricated sections to help simplify field installation.

The result: custom shelving developed around the project, from the first plan to the finished space.

Storage can be part of the design.

Hanging glass racks put otherwise unused space to work, keeping stemware organized and within easy reach while freeing valuable shelf and counter space.

But function is only part of the equation. With finish options that can complement surrounding architectural metalwork, a practical necessity becomes another considered detail within the bar.

Because even where the glassware lives can contribute to how the space feels.
