Our Land Survey crew is out in the field doing the work that keeps projects moving. From active construction sites to thick Florida brush, roadway structures, and everything in between.

ZNS Engineering is excited to welcome our two summer interns, Anthony Nguyen and Owen Cunneen, to the team!

This summer, they’re getting a full picture of what it takes to bring a project together by spending time with each of our departments and experiencing the many steps behind the work we do.

From attending hearings and shadowing surveyors to drafting alongside our engineering team and assisting with landscape architecture, they’re seeing firsthand how collaboration shapes every successful project.

And, of course, they’re learning one of the most important parts of the ZNS experience: Friday night kickball.

We’re thrilled to have them with us this summer and look forward to seeing all they learn and contribute!

Big news! We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Sarasota office.

We’re proud to expand our service area to include Sarasota, Lee, and Charlotte County area, helping even more clients and communities across Southwest Florida.

Alec Ausley, M.S., P.E. is leading the charge in Sarasota, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

Kickball season is officially here!

ZNS has joined the GT Bray league, and we’re back on the field doing what we do best, having fun and staying competitive. For those who don’t know, we’ve been playing for quite a while… and while we’re still chasing our first win, this might just be our season.

Big shoutout to the incredibly talented David Lambert for designing and making our awesome jerseys. We’re looking good and ready to play!

Stay tuned… this could be the year we finally bring home a win!

Fifty years ago today, ZNS Engineering opened its doors, offering a convenient and efficient full suite of services, including civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction management across multiple counties in the Tampa Bay region.

Since 1976, we’ve played a role in shaping the infrastructure and communities that define how we live, work, and grow. Today, we’re proud to be the largest and longest-standing locally owned engineering firm in Manatee County.

What began as a comprehensive, client-focused approach remains at the core of who we are, delivering innovative, high-quality solutions, building lasting relationships, and supporting the communities we call home.
