Mainstay Engineering Group was proud to celebrate the topping out of the Johnson and Johnson CEAS Expansion in Spring House, PA, along with the entire project team, marking a major milestone for this life sciences facility.

Johnson and Johnson is constructing this state-of-the-art cell therapy manufacturing facility in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County. The facility will directly support the production of medicines for cancer, immune-mediated, and neurological diseases. This expansion will also create more than 500 new jobs over the next twelve years and continue to grow Pennsylvania’s life sciences industry.

Rikki Moore, PE, and Brendon Abernethy, EIT, represented our Mainstay team on site for this milestone as the structure reached its full height after contributing to the project’s structural engineering design. Moments like this highlight the collaboration, coordination, and technical precision necessary to bring complex pharmaceutical and life sciences projects to life.

At Mainstay Engineering Group, we believe that great teams aren't built in conference rooms alone. They're built in the moments we show up for each other.

We recently had the joy of celebrating two of our amazing team members, Fred Ilsemann, PE, and Nicholas D***s, PE, who both recently tied the knot! 🎉💍

We gathered for a brunch buffet to honor these milestones and make sure Fred and Nick felt exactly what they are. Seen, valued, and celebrated. Not just as engineers, but as people.

That's the heart of Mainstay. We invest in our employees' careers, and we show up for their lives too. The big moments. The ones that matter most. Everyone on this team deserves to feel recognized, and days like this remind us why that matters.

Each week, our team came together for group walks, along with sharing fruit fun facts and a nutrition quiz throughout the month. It was a simple way to stay active, learn something new, and connect as a team.

Events like the Annual Golf Outing create valuable opportunities to connect, share insights, and strengthen the relationships that move our industry forward.

Another great year at the SEAoP Awards Dinner!

Held at the Down Town Club, the event brought together structural engineers to connect and celebrate the projects driving our industry forward. Guest speaker Rafael Sabelli, S.E., Senior Principal and Director of Seismic Design at Walter P Moore, highlighted the innovative design behind SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Structural Engineer Aakash Rana, P.E., and Marketing and Proposal Coordinator Griffin Stout represented Mainstay at the ceremony.

Earth Day is a reminder that the infrastructure we design today shapes the environmental impact of tomorrow.
