Last week was a great one at the ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo!

Pam Assenmacher, Christine Sciarrotta, Justin Ruby, Leo Doyer, and Bob Flanagan had a wonderful time connecting with industry colleagues, attending the Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA), and having meaningful conversations about the life sciences and biotech industries.

We’re proud to celebrate Vice President Richard Kapp, PE, on the publication of his book, Xerxes: The Engineer, the Hurricane, and the Boy, now available on Amazon.

Xerxes is a story with science, engineering, and history framing the tale of a family in distress as a massive hurricane approaches the South Carolina coastal barrier island where they were vacationing. Forced to evacuate by the governor's order, in the confusion, Robbie is left behind. Follow them during their vacation and the tragic aftermath ending in redemption.

Richard’s accomplishment is a great reminder that the passions, creativity, and interests our team members pursue outside of their everyday work are part of what makes Mainstay who we are. We’re proud to support our people not only in their professional growth, but in the goals and passions they pursue beyond engineering.

The 1,300-acre development is designed to connect world-class talent, research, and manufacturing capabilities in one of the nation's leading life sciences markets.

Mainstay Engineering Group is proud to support that vision by providing civil and structural engineering services for the fit-out of TerraPower Isotopes' flagship cGMP manufacturing facility in collaboration with Orchestra Life Sciences. Once operational, the facility will help expand the supply of actinium-225, a critical isotope used in the development of targeted cancer therapies.
