EEI’s Dr. Jay McKelvey will be teaching a full day short course entitled Static and Pseudo-Static Analyses for Natural and Man-Made Slopes with Dr. Tim Stark of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at the upcoming Geo-Virginia conference in October. The course will discuss 2D and 3D slope stability methods, types of drained and undrained shear strengths of soils and slope stabilization techniques. Numerous case histories will also be presented.
