Project Spotlight: McHenry County Crystal Lake Health Department ❕

Earlier this year, the Kluber team completed a renovation for McHenry County Department of Health Crystal Lake location, which houses both the Department of Health and the Veterinary Public Health Department.

The project included reconfiguring entrances and waiting areas for both departments to enhance security while creating a welcoming experience for visitors.

Working closely with staff, our team also developed new circulation patterns that improve workflow, increase privacy, and support greater productivity. A new sheltered drive-through vaccination lane was added as part of the renovation, making services more accessible and efficient for both staff and residents.

Working on a meaningful project such as this one has been a pleasure for our team and we appreciate that opportunity to help create a better space for the McHenry County staff to be able to best serve their community.

Our Excellence in Masonry Award has officially found its home! 🏆

The Kluber team is honored to receive an Excellence in Masonry Award for the South Elgin Public Safety and Training Center.

Thank you to the Masonry Advisory Council for recognizing this outstanding project. We are incredibly proud of the work our team accomplished and the positive impact it continues to have on the Village of South Elgin.

A special thank you and congratulations to Lamp Incorporated and Iwanski Masonry, Inc. for being wonderful partners on this project and helping bring it to life.

The Boone County Ribbon Cutting celebrates the completion of the Health Departments newly renovated and expanded service building. 🎉

Kluber Architects + Engineers worked with Boone County to complete renovations for this impactful space that will help and serve many community members.

We are honored to have led this project and provide designs that support the health services of Boone County.

This summer, the Village of Hampshire, Illinois Public Works Department moved into its new home! 🌟

After operating out of multiple buildings throughout the Village for many years, the department now has a state-of-the-art Public Works Facility designed to meet its current needs while accommodating future growth.

The Village of Hampshire has been a pleasure to work with, and Kluber is honored to have been able to design a facility that will support its operations and help the department continue serving the community for years to come.

Last week our team was honored to take part in the Village of Woodridge, Illinois – Government beam signing ceremony for their new Public Works Facility. It was a meaningful opportunity for us to leave a small piece of Kluber embedded within the structure. 🏗️

Celebrating our interns on ! 🎉

Yesterday, the Kluber team came together to enjoy some ice cream and celebrate our interns. It was a great opportunity to get to know them better, hear about the projects they've been working on, and recognize the impact they've made throughout the summer. 🍦

Our interns have been a wonderful addition to the team, and we're grateful for their hard work, enthusiasm, and contributions. We wish them all the best as they wrap up the summer and head back to school! ☀️

Kluber Architects + Engineers has joined Aeterna Group - a new national architecture and engineering firm built on the combined strength of five firms who share the same values, the same commitment to clients, and the same belief that great design makes communities stronger.

The introduction of Aeterna Group follows Kluber’s September 2025 announcement of a partnership with Signal Hill Equity Partners to create a national collaborative of architecture and engineering firms. The collaborative, now comprised of five companies, has been united under the shared Aeterna Group name.

For the clients and communities we serve across Illinois, nothing changes. Same team, same dedication, same Kluber. What changes is our ability to go further.
