Refined Fuels Mobile Transload Unit - S&S Technical designed and manufactured this mobile rail-to-truck transload unit for transferring refined fuels at a terminal.

A key feature of this package is the S&S platform design, developed to simplify onsite setup and eliminate the heavy equipment typically required to erect platforms, stairs, and gangways after shipping. The platform can be raised using a hole hog, with simple hand tools needed to install the safety cage - potentially saving $6,000 or more in onsite setup costs.

The stair assembly features self-leveling treads and remains connected to the platform, raising with it during setup. An aluminum slide-out gangway with slip-resistant grating provides railcar access, while a pivoting railcar safety cage provides fall protection.

For additional mobility, an optional DOT trailer can be provided so the complete unit can be towed to the site rather than transported on a flatbed.

This refined fuels transload package includes:

• Blackmer GNX4 pump
• FMC 210 valve
• FMC Prime 4 meter
• Toptech MultiLoad
• Scully Groundhog for rail-side grounding
• Scully Intellitrol for the truck loading side
