SBS’s FER-MAN® features impact-resistant steel with enhanced surface hardness, achieved through a specialised treatment. It is a great option for higher loads, highly abrasive environments and requires fewer greasing intervals than standard steel bushings. Additionally, the FER-MAN® can be produced according to OEM standard dimensions and when required, upgraded for higher durability (e.g. during applications with oversized buckets).
Our FER-MAS®, on the other hand, achieves high durability through hardened and grinded steel. Many other OEM steel bushings fail to provide a properly designed grease groove system to guarantee optimal grease distribution in the ID’s load zone. SBS is able to solve this problem by improving groove design.
