We manufacture the largest range of Harrows available in NZ and provide general engineering services which includes custom commercial and industrial engineering, truck deck design and build and secondary engineering services. Operating from the Selwyn District located 30 km west of Christchurch, Lyndon Harrows and Engineering Ltd has been manufacturing harrows and farm equipment since 1974 when David and Lynn Lyndon started the business in Kirwee. Due to our continued growth, we have recently moved to a larger more modern facility in West Melton which has enabled us to manage our business with even more success.

Meet the Team | Mark Hanson

For the past 5 years, Mark Hanson has been helping keep things running smoothly in the Lyndon Engineering workshop.

As Workshop Manager, Mark's role is making sure the team has the work, tools, and support they need to get the job done. Known for his strong communication and willingness to jump in when challenges rise, he's a key part of keeping projects moving forward.

One of Mark's favourite projects has been our stadium fencing work, and there's nothing quite like seeing the finished product installed and making an impact.

A recent challenge that put his skills to the test was fabricating a spiral staircase, where every measurement and component needed to fit together perfectly.

When it comes to supporting the team, Mark focuses on making sure everything is prepared and helping out whenever someone gets stuck.

Outside of work, Mark has been a rugby referee for 16 years, enjoys a round of golf, and can often be found taking his Mustang for a weekend drive.
