Hes a structurally certified welder! So proud of the hard mahi has been doing lately, its exciting to see his growth! Nice Work Charlie!!

Mechanical engineering standards are out for review!

It’s so important that we get our say in shaping what our apprenticeships look like! Click the link and have some bedtime reading!

In April, we commence the Mechanical Engineering qualifications and standards review. The review will ensure that these qualifications and standards remain current, industry-relevant, and fit for future workforce needs.

We acknowledge that earlier project activity was paused during sector reform, which created uncertainty. Under renewed governance and a clearly structured delivery approach, this review will build on development already completed, in close partnership with industry and providers.

Over the coming months we'll hold:

· Industry engagement sessions to validate workforce and skills needs.

· Provider drop-in sessions to discuss programme impacts and transition planning.

When the apprentice calls in sick the back up gets roped in!

It was a pleasure to carry out repairs and build a new seat frame for the pool. It’s awesome when you get to have a personal connection with the work you do, and while Zoe is mad we can’t take her swimming at her favourite spot right now, we were able to help with the repairs in the pool!

When we set up this business we had a different outlook on life.

We wanted to provide better service to our customers than our workplaces in past lives had been doing. So we built and grew on that, small farm jobs, and welding that helped people with repairs.

Over the years its grown - naturally for the most part - by continuing to do work that shows our values, customer service that is real and down to earth, and a workshop that values you and your job no matter the size of the task. Sure we love to sink our teeth into a big project, but our favourite thing is to help people out of a jam.

So when you've got a super tight deadline, or an idea for something new, or something to repair that others cant figure out, we are the people to call, cos those are the things that drive us to be better.
