We’re looking for a Parts Leading Hand to join the Waratah Forestry Services team in Rotorua.
This is a hands on leadership role at the heart of our parts operation and we’re after someone who’s ready to own it.
What you’ll be doing:
🔧 Leading day to day parts operations and service delivery across our NZ customer base
📦 Overseeing inventory management, inward goods, and systems accuracy within IFS
🤝 Managing customer relationships order status, issue resolution, and escalations
📋 Processing parts transfers, invoices, and purchase orders in line with company procedures
📈 Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving best practice across the team
🛡️ Maintaining health, safety, and workplace standards across the facility
What we’re looking for:
✅ Proven understanding of customer service excellence and professional customer engagement
✅ Demonstrated ability to lead work activities, influence outcomes, and drive task completion
✅ Strong communication skills, written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders
✅ Ability to work cross functionally with service, administration, and international supply partners
✅ Strong computer literacy and the ability to work independently while providing operational leadership
This role operates with a high level of autonomy and carries real accountability for parts department performance, including service delivery, accuracy, and timeliness.
