We are proud to be packing up and shipping a second Plazmax CutAce to Kyst Engineering based in Clontarf, Queensland.

Six years ago they invested in a CutAce with an XPR170 for straight cutting. This time they have stepped up to:

• A Hypertherm XPR300 for increased power and throughput
• Our 5-axis bevel head for advanced multi-angle capability
• Our latest MaxControl CNC controller
• Laser height sensing technology for increased productivity
• Hole taper compensation for improved part accuracy

Upgrading from straight cutting to full bevel capability is a serious productivity move. It opens up more complex work, tighter fit-up, and greater efficiency across the board.

🔩 Cutting Tapered Slots for Trommel Screens

In this clip you’ll see Brad explaining how we process 12 mm wear plate with A-bevelled trommel screen slots — allowing material to pass through smoothly once the plates are rolled into a drum.

Each slot is precision-cut and bevelled in one pass — a really efficient process for grade 500 wear plate, which you simply can’t drill or machine.

When you’re producing thousands of these, every second counts — and that’s where the right plasma setup makes all the difference.
