Today, a small delegation from the SIMEM Group visited the Gotthard construction site, where a SIMEM batching plant has been operating for more than one year to produce the concrete required for the construction of the “Second Tunnel" project.

This infrastructure, which carries significant strategic importance for the Swiss logistics system, will help manage traffic between Canton Ticino and the central part of the country, while also enabling major maintenance work on the first tunnel, in operation since 1980.
During the visit, President Federico Furlani symbolically handed over the keys of the mega batching plant to Christoph Duijts, CEO of KIBAG, the company in charge of building the tunnel.

This visit further highlights the mutual esteem and trust between the two companies, as well as SIMEM’s ability to present itself not merely as a supplier but as a strategic capable of offering tailored solutions for the sector and major projects

Durante il suo intervento ha ricordato come questo riconoscimento appartenga all’intera organizzazione: “Ritiro questo premio a nome di tutte le Persone Vincenti che costituiscono la squadra Simem in Italia e nel mondo!”
