Leading provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), grid connections, and electrical substations across Europe. We provide comprehensive specialist services to industry and construction for Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of transmission and distribution networks. The company management is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace that will protect the wellbeing of employees and clients alike. Over the last number of years H&MV have become vastly experienced in the design and build of 110kV, 38kV and 20kV substations. We have a wide range of expertise in site electrical infrastructure and Sub-Station connection in renewables, data centres, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals throughout Ireland and the UK. With our understanding of Grid codes and HV interface requirements we are able to guide our clients through the grid connection process. H&MV will procure HV equipment and cable from approved suppliers to the specification required by Eirgrid and ESB. With our highly dedicated and trained engineers we design, install and commission substations to required grid standards. Thumper

Ground broken in Berlin!

We’re proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of C**T Data Centre Services' new development in Berlin, marking an exciting milestone in the delivery of critical infrastructure for one of Europe’s leading data centre companies.

As part of the project, we are delivering a 110 kV G.I.S substation, supporting the power infrastructure required for this major data centre development.

It was fantastic to mark the occasion alongside our partners and colleagues, including John Houston from C**T DCS, and from H&MV, David Dineen, Robert Coloe, Denise Walsh and Sunil Kumar Singh.

A great milestone for everyone involved — and another important step in powering the digital infrastructure of tomorrow. ⚡

Well done to the H&MV Engineering team who represented the business at the LGFA Interfirms Blitz in Dublin on Saturday, 10 October!

Bringing together women from across the business, the team competed in six games, reaching the Shield semi-final after a fantastic day of football.

With a mix of experience and many meeting for the first time, the team showed great teamwork, determination and camaraderie throughout the day.

A fantastic day of sport, teamwork and connection, reflecting the strong culture of collaboration across H&MV Engineering. Well done to everyone who took part!

A milestone in H&MV Engineering’s U.S. journey.

Just over a month since the opening of our North American headquarters in Dallas, we look back on this important step in our continued U.S. expansion, marked by opening remarks from John Forde, Consul General of Ireland in Austin.

With plans to create 1,000 U.S. jobs over the next five years, we are strengthening our local presence to deliver the critical power infrastructure needed to support America’s growing data centre, energy and grid markets.

Dallas is just the beginning.

We were delighted to welcome Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke TD, to our new US headquarters in Dallas on Monday, as part of the Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland trade mission to Texas.

Hosted by our Executive Vice President, US Operations, Ken Gilmartin, the visit provided an opportunity to highlight H&MV’s growing presence in the US and bring together fellow Irish businesses for a roundtable discussion on growth and collaboration across high-tech construction, data centres and critical power infrastructure.
