Wishing Mick Doyle a very happy retirement after more than 45 years at the Zoetis Rathdrum site.

Mick has worked on site since 1981 and has been part of the ESS team since 2018. Over that time, he has become known for his skill, practical knowledge and ability to turn his hand to just about anything.

As part of his retirement celebrations, Mick was presented with a very special handmade award, a fitting tribute to his one-of-a-kind character.

From everyone at ESS, thank you, Mick, for everything you have contributed over the years, for the knowledge you have shared and for the people you have helped along the way.

A big congratulations to Jason Lawlor, who has successfully completed his Electrical Apprenticeship at Birds Eye, Naas.

Some of the most important engineering work is the work nobody notices.

Planned maintenance happens before the breakdown. Fault finding happens before a small issue becomes a bigger one. Improvements are made while production keeps moving. Shutdowns are prepared long before the site stops.

This work rarely gets the same attention as a major repair because, when it is done properly, operations continue as expected.
That is the value of strong engineering support.

It is not only about responding when something goes wrong. It is about the planning, knowledge and preventative work that help keep operations reliable every day.
