The Amarinth team raised over £550 at our last charity day, in aid of Alzheimer’s Society UK.

With the Norfolk Coast Alzheimer’s Society Trek13 miles taking place in August, our team got together to raise money towards their fundraising totals of £200 each.

Our marketing committee planned another ‘games on the green’ charity day, this one Easter themed! With multiple challenges for the teams to complete, including egg toss and egg race rally - the fun, competitive spirit led our team to raise over £550 for this important charity.

While raising money for this important cause our charity day provided the team with quality time away from their desks.

Good luck to those walking the 13 mile trek in August!

Amarinth’s staff spotlight series continues, highlighting our wonderful team members.

Here we talk with Zena Throp, Procurement Manager.

“I’ve been at Amarinth for 10 months now and it’s brilliant how supportive the team are from day one. Everyone is so personable and it’s made settling into a new industry very helpful, especially being as there’s lots to learn.

So far, I’ve loved the scope of my role and getting to assist newer team members with development, bringing fresh ideas to new and existing processes.

The culture here is brilliant, from charity days to staff BBQs, there’s a lot of hard work that goes on across the whole business but it’s balanced with team activities to foster unity across the team.

I’m looking forward continuing my journey here at Amarinth.”

Many thanks to Zena for sharing her favourite moments so far. Look out for our next spotlight post coming soon…!

As the weather in the UK brightens up, our wonderful gardening team are back to the planters to bring fresh vegetables and flowers to the office.

In-line with stress awareness month, our staff gardening initiative aims to provide our team with time away from their desks at lunch. Giving them time to enjoy the weather, reset before the afternoon and take part in growing something outside of their daily roles.

Led by test bay engineer Julie Watts, this year’s planters will once again be filled with fresh food for our monthly BBQ following our all staff briefing!

April is stress awareness month and here at Amarinth we’re reminding our staff of the importance of balance during busy and overwhelming times.

Work related stress is one of the leading causes of ill health at work in the UK. In 2024/25, nearly 1 million workers reported stress, depression, or anxiety related to their jobs.

Our team are at the heart of everything we do here at Amarinth and their wellbeing remains our priority. In light of this our health and safety team have issued a stress awareness bulletin and our gardening group has re-started to encourage our team to spend their lunch breaks away from their desks.

As part of new team member welcome pack we include an Amarinth branded stress ball!

Today, 22nd April, is Earth Day. Aiming to raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection, climate change and sustainability - this day highlights the importance of global efforts towards protecting the future of the Earth.

Around the world people partake in beach clean-ups, tree planting and advocating for policy change.

Here at Amarinth we encourage our team to do their bit through our recycling scheme, car share scheme and increased awareness throughout the business as to the changes they can make in the office and at home to increase their sustainability efforts.

Big change starts with small steps, and here at Amarinth we encourage our team to take those small steps.
