Part-Time Yard & Delivery Assistant / Repair Partner

Hours: Flexible / Part-time hours to be agreed

The Role

We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Assistant to help keep our operations running smoothly. This is a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road as well as getting their hands dirty in the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliveries & Collections: Safely loading, delivering, and collecting plant and tools for our local customer base.

Basic Maintenance & Repairs:

Checking over returned equipment, identifying faults, and carrying out basic servicing and repairs on small petrol engines and tools.What We Are Looking For

• Mechanical Aptitude: A basic, practical knowledge of small petrol engines (2-stroke/4-stroke) and general mechanical repairs.

• Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential (experience towing trailers is a major plus).

Reliability: A punctual, trustworthy individual with a professional attitude when dealing with customers on delivery drop-offs.

Problem Solver: Someone who can work independently and use their initiative in the workshop.

Open to Partnership (For Existing Repair Businesses)

Are you already running your own small engine or tool repair business? We are highly open to a mutually beneficial partnership or subcontracting arrangement.

If you have your own workshop setup but are looking for a steady stream of contract repair work alongside some regular delivery hours, we want to hear from you. We are open to structuring this role to complement your existing business.
