π§ Tank Clean & Chlorination β With On-Site Fault Identified
Routine tank cleaning can uncover more than just whatβs happening inside the tank.
Our engineers recently attended site to carry out a scheduled cold water storage tank clean and chlorination, helping to maintain clean, hygienic stored water and keep the system in good condition.
During the visit, the team identified an issue with the inlet float valve. The existing component had become heavily corroded and had snapped, preventing it from operating as intended.
Rather than leaving the system with an immediate problem, our engineers carried out a temporary repair using a stainless-steel bolt, restoring the operation of the inlet float valve until a permanent replacement can be completed.
A new ball valve was also quoted for, providing the customer with a permanent solution to the fault identified.
The tank clean and chlorination was then completed, with the tank returned to service and the water level operating correctly.

Itβs another example of the value of having experienced engineers on site. Our visits arenβt simply about completing the scheduled task β we assess the wider system and identify issues that could affect its continued operation.
