MU has helped to deliver nearly 200 much-needed affordable homes in Cumbernauld, with Lennox House being the first to be entirely free from gas-powered heating and one of our first-ever projects to adopt highly innovative NIBE exhaust air source heat pumps!

Bellsmyre Regeneration is the second of two phases of housing-led regeneration MU has helped CCG (Scotland) deliver on behalf of Caledonia Housing Association in recent years. The development was designed from the ground up with tenants in mind, creating homes tailored to their needs, whilst the masterplan philosophy has bridged neighbourhoods together.

A great project all round for our team, who led the installation of water and electrical infrastructure.

Earlier this month, Glasgow City Council's Housing Convenor, Councillor Ruairi Kelly, visited the former Bellgrove Hotel development in Glasgow's East End, where tenants have been moving into their new homes since June.

Delivered through the Transforming Communities: Glasgow partnership, the project has created 70 mid-market rental homes for Lowther, part of , including the refurbishment of the iconic Bellgrove Hotel alongside new-build properties.

Working alongside CCG Scotland Ltd, Arc-Tech MU utilised our expertise to support the successful delivery of this landmark residential development.

It's fantastic to see this historic Glasgow landmark begin its next chapter, providing high-quality homes while preserving its distinctive architectural character. We are delighted to have played our part in a project that will benefit residents and the wider community for years to come.

Everyone at Arc-Tech MU was delighted to hear the news that yet another project, which was delivered utilising our expertise, is up for a very special award.

The Architects’ Journal is one of the most respected architectural publications in the world, and their annual awards are coveted amongst designers, so it's with great pleasure to state that Pine Place - designed by Reiach and Hall Architects and constructed by CCG Scotland Ltd- was recently announced as one of only six projects shortlisted for this year's AJ Architecture Housing Award (up to £10m).

A small but very cool affordable housing development delivered for New Gorbals Housing Association in the southside of Glasgow, 28 homes are now in place in place of a former health centre, and you can really see how the client and designer have come together to really deliver something special, while addressing the core needs of the tenants.

From private housing in Glasgow to major urban regeneration schemes in West Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire that have helped to address localised demand for modern, energy-efficient affordable homes, we are extremely proud to have played a vital role in delivering some of the country’s most transformational mixed-tenure residential developments.

Wow! Architectural awards don't get much more prestigious than the RIBA Neave Brown housing award. St Andrew's Drive Phase 2 & 3 was one of MU's very first contracts, so seeing this development still recognised today is a proud moment for us and a testament to the delivery team.

If you have never seen it up close, now is the time to see the stunning landscaping strategy in full bloom!

A fantastic project for the MU team to be involved in!

Not only are we helping to bring a vacant brownfield site back into use through the creation of much-needed affordable homes, but we're also contributing towards a positive environmental legacy, with renewable technologies and advanced build standards combining to reduce operational carbon emissions and help lower tenants' future energy bills.
