Our CEO, Vijay Madlani and NED Damian Adams MBE were invited to meet with the Deputy Consulate General Qi in Edinburgh on Friday last week ahead of the Scottish Trade Mission to Shanghai next week. China is an exciting opportunity for our technology and this was very clear from the discussions that were had.

A big thank you to Richard Muir and the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce for supporting our international growth efforts.

That's a wrap on another great year at !

A big thank you to Barclays Eagle Labs and Sustainable Ventures for hosting us and Jessica Briggs, Head of Sustainability at Edinburgh Airport and Omotayo Fakoede, Lead Business Innovation and Regional Business Development for UK, Ireland and Northern Europe from Bosch over the last 2 days.

We gained some incredible insights on the role of investment in innovation, new technologies in the green energy sector, and how we can work to deliver affordable clean energy for all.

We're already looking forward to next year and the milestones we will be hitting along the way.

Paul is joining the Katrick team as our new Chief Technology Officer with a wealth of experience across automotive, design engineering, and taking concepts to market across multiple organisations.

At Katrick he’ll be driving the development of our Wind Panel forward as we progress through our commercial prototypes before our full market launch.

A busy week for Katrick out and about!

Last week, our Finance Controller and Office Manager, Lorraine, attended Glasgow Chamber of Commerce's Scaling Scottish Innovation across borders in partnership with Germany event at Barclays UK.

A great event highlighting investment and innovation across borders to scale Glasgow's growing tech economy. We also ran into our good friend, Jenny Patten, Head of Business Development from Bosch UK. Thank you again for highlighting the amazing work both teams are doing to bring Scottish wind innovations to market.

Last night, our Founder and CTO, Karthik, gave a talk at the National Climate Tech Accelerator (NCTA) launch event in Glasgow. Covering all the highs and lows along the journey of building and scaling a startup (we wouldn't change it for anything! 😉)

The NCTA, delivered by Sustainable Ventures and Barclays Eagle Labs, is designed to address the sector-specific needs of UK climate tech founders and support the next phase of growth.

Our team had a fantastic day at the Open Bosch Awards, which was filled with inspirational words from Member of the Board of Management and CDO at Robert Bosch GmbH, Tanja Rueckert.

We want to congratulate Dotphoton on their well-deserved win.

It was fantastic to see so many innovative startups across the Bosch company ecosystem focusing on everything from AI and automation to scalable data management in manufacturing. Just being one of the top 7 companies out of 70 global applicants was a great success in itself.

We also want to thank our own team and collaborators at Bosch. Making it this far at Open Bosch in our early days is just the start of a growing and impactful partnership for the future of wind energy.
