SSAF Sheet Metal & Welding Services is seeking an organised, confident and capable Administrative Executive to join our team.

This is a permanent part-time position, 3–4 days per week, with flexible hours available for the right candidate and excellent wages on offer.

You’ll be the friendly face at the front of our business while also providing essential administrative and account support to our management and workshop teams.

Key responsibilities include:

* Front-of-house duties, including greeting customers and answering phone calls
* General administration and data entry
* Invoicing and payroll
* Maintaining job bookings and assisting with job scheduling
* Coordinating team training and related records
* Preparing and maintaining safety and quality documentation
* Assisting the management team with additional administrative tasks as required

What we’re looking for:
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
* Experience using Xero is an advantage
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently
* High attention to detail and accuracy

This is a hands-on leadership role managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, coordinating workflow across a full team, maintaining quality standards and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

What we’re looking for:
🔸 Previous experience in a Workshop Manager or similar leadership role would be an advantage.
🔸 Trade background as an experienced Sheet Metal Worker or Boilermaker.
🔸 Strong ability to multitask, prioritise jobs and keep workshop workflow moving in a fast paced workshop environment.
🔸 Experience estimating, budgeting and quoting projects
🔸 Ability to conduct quality checks and ensure completed work meets required standards
🔸 Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
🔸 A practical, solutions-focused approach to getting the job done.
🔸 Confidence and ability to deal with stakeholders, clients, and employees.
