✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨ Meet Kerry Nolan, our Senior Financial Accountant and one of Sharpe®’s quiet achievers. Originally from Townsville in North Queensland, Kerry spent the past 10 years working in Tully before making the move to Brisvegas. Behind the scenes, he turns complex financial and manufacturing data into clear, practical insights that support better business decisions across Sharpe®.

Running a premium threaded connection in your casing or tubing string? Sharpe® has you covered for the manufacture of accessories to suit.

This batch of bullnose subs carries a 4-1/2" TPCO’s “TP-WG” premium box connection, made up as the last component on the bottom of the 4-1/2" casing string. We invest in premium licences to support local oil and gas operators; this ensures casing and tubing accessories can be manufactured in a timely manner – locally.

We commonly machine premium threads on all kinds of Sharpe® and customer-designed accessories. These products include casing running subs, lift nubbins, x-overs, cementing equipment, inflatable and swellable packer components, gauge carrier mandrels, frac sleeves, and wellhead components including tubing and casing hangers.

All premium threads are machined to proprietary drawings and specifications, fully gauged, coated with manganese phosphate, xylan or copper brush plated, and dispatched with thread protectors installed.

Our Brisbane team’s machining skills continue to be put to the test by client-specified bottom hole assembly parts. Shown in the photos are unique mining head assemblies used in HDD (horizontal directional drilling) applications. The tools showcase the multi-axis machining capability of our CNC centres.

When run at the bottom of the hole, the mining heads are designed to aid the hydraulic excavation of the desired ore through shallow sands and, while operating under high pressure, assist in the fluidisation of the mineral-bearing formation.

The fluidising nozzles discharge pressurised fluid into the surrounding material to loosen unconsolidated mineral sands and help form a slurry for recovery of the desired rare earth minerals.

Our 2026 Sharpe® Connection Meetings took place last week across our Roma and Brisbane sites, bringing each team together around a shared purpose: Creating a Quality Future, Together.

The meetings provided an opportunity to reflect on our achievements over the past 12 months, celebrate our progress and align on the opportunities ahead as we look towards 2027 and beyond.

We were fortunate to welcome one of our valued clients, Darren Greer, Vice President Queensland & Northern Territory Gas at Santos Ltd, who shared valuable insights into the future of our industry, what Santos values in its supplier partnerships and how businesses like Sharpe® can continue to create value through quality, innovation and operational excellence. It was a real privilege to hear from an industry leader with a wealth of experience and a long-standing connection to the industry, and to Sharpe®.

Our keynote speaker Gus Balbontin challenged us to think differently, embrace change and adapt alongside our clients. His message? Don’t just wait for the future to happen — pull it towards you.

We’ve just completed pre-rental testing on this 7-1/16" 10K BOP IU shear stack, combining Sharpe®-manufactured components with INTEGRATED® stock rental BOP equipment.

The BOP stack allows our customer to stack up on a 10K wellhead to undertake critical plug and abandonment rig operations. The stack includes:

✅ Sharpe®-manufactured 7-1/16" 10K spacer spool with API 16A monogram
✅ INTEGRATED® 7-1/16" 10K double-gate IU-style ram BOP, with large-bore shear/blind rams below & 2-3/8" to 3-1/2" variable bore pipe rams above
✅ INTEGRATED® 5K annular BOP, with a 10K fl**ged bottom & 5K studded top
✅ Sharpe®-manufactured 7-1/16" custom st****er head diverter with 6" Fig 602 male outlet, supplied with 2-7/8" and 3-1/2" st****er elastomers

Our Brisbane team assembled the stack onto the test stump, completed function and pressure testing, then disassembled & packaged it ready for transport with all critical spares.

As the exclusive distributor for INTEGRATED® Equipment in the region, we support our customers with equipment, validation testing, engineering support & critical spares.

Adaptor spools do one job: they join two fl**ges that wouldn't otherwise meet.

This one that Abraham is working on is 14 inches of 4130 steel, with two different fl**ge ratings and one full 7.06" bore. This 7-1/16" adaptor spool takes a 5M R-46 connection down to 2M/3M R-45, and it's rated to 2,000 psi working pressure.

Machined, inspected and ready to ship. 🔩
