This will be the last Aussie recipe from Greg for a month. He’s off to the USA, but he’ll still be sharing delicious American recipes on his travels, so keep an eye out on our Socials for these while he’s away. First though, get amongst this Brown Sugar Chops recipe for this weekend!

Greg’s Bread and Butter Pudding, with a couple of tricks added in here from Nat Di**le herself. Jam on the buns instead of plain butter, powdered milk made on milk instead of water for a richer custard, and brown sugar over the top (sprinkle some coconut too if you like over the top as well).

Simple swaps, better result.

This one is built for a cold Maranoa night. Slow-cooked gravy beef, soft vegetables and fluffy dumplings on top soaking up all that gravy. Greg likes to throw in a handful of pearl barley, some peas and corn, a dash of Tabasco and a spoon of fruit chutney, but that is up to you and your taste.

We're proud to have our name on this one!

It means a great deal to us that "Somebody's Seat" stays here in Roma for good since there is so much meaning behind it.

Greg's gone proper old-school this week!
Curried sausages. The dinner half of us grew up on and the other half have been missing without knowing it. Thick beef snags in a rich curry gravy, served over a pile of creamy mash or rice is a perfect match for this weather.
Cheap to make, feeds the whole crew, and tastes even better the next night.

This week he's keeping it simple and offer a recipe that'll warm you up now that the cold is setting in.
Slow Cooker Pea and Ham Soup. A smoky ham hock melting into velvety split peas, hardly any prep, and the slow cooker does the rest while you get on with your day!
