🎉 40 Years of Sapphire City Steel & Pipe 🎉
It’s hard to believe, but we’re up to 40 years in business today!
Back in 1986, Sapphire City Steel & Pipe started pretty simply - a demountable building, a steel rack in the yard and 17 tonnes of steel. The first load was unloaded with a borrowed forklift and stacked in the rack by hand.
The shed has grown, the trucks have got bigger, our product range has expanded and the business has evolved - but none of it would have happened without good people. We’ve been fortunate to have loyal, skilled and hardworking staff over the years who have shared their knowledge, trained apprentices and always gone the extra mile for our customers.
From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown alongside Inverell and the surrounding district. There have been plenty of changes over the years, but one thing has stayed the same - our commitment to good service, quality products and being there for our customers.
We’re incredibly grateful to our loyal customers and the wider community who have supported us and helped keep a local business going strong for 40 years.
