The Role

We are seeking an organised and reliable Service / Office Administrator to support our workshop and front office operations.

This role is ideal for someone who can manage bookings, customer communication and day-to-day administration in a busy diesel workshop environment.

You will work closely with workshop staff, parts interpreters, suppliers and customers to help keep jobs moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Managing workshop bookings and scheduling

✅ Answering phones and handling customer enquiries

✅ Managing incoming emails and job communication

✅ Preparing job cards and workshop paperwork

✅ Costing completed jobs and processing invoices

✅ Liaising with technicians, suppliers and customers regarding repairs and parts

✅ Assisting with parts and service administration

✅ Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records

✅ Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices

✅ General office administration and customer service duties

Skills & Experience

Preferred applicants will have:

✔️ Previous administration or service experience

✔️ Strong organisational and time management skills

✔️ Good computer skills and the ability to learn workshop management systems

✔️ Strong communication and customer service skills

✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

✔️ Attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and costing

✔️ Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

✔️ A positive and reliable attitude

🚛 Experience within the transport, automotive, agricultural or heavy diesel industry will be highly regarded.
