🏆 WE WON! MOST OUTSTANDING SPECIALIST BUSINESS – BRISBANE CITY

We are incredibly proud to announce that Power On Australia has been named Most Outstanding Specialist Business at the 2026 Brisbane City Local Business Awards.

For almost 25 years, Power On Australia has been quietly building something special.

From our beginnings in 2002 to the Australian critical power engineering business we are today, one thing has remained constant: our determination to solve problems, look after our customers and find a way, even when the challenge isn't easy.

This award recognises far more than a business name.

It belongs to the incredible Power On Australia team, the people who engineer, design, assemble, test, deliver, install, service and support the critical power solutions our customers rely upon every day.

It also belongs, in part, to the customers, suppliers and partners who have trusted and supported us throughout our journey. Some have been with us for many, many years, and we never take that loyalty for granted.

To be recognised as Brisbane City's Most Outstanding Specialist Business is particularly meaningful because being a specialist is exactly what we have worked so hard to become.

We don't aspire to be everything to everyone.
We aspire to be exceptional at what we do.

To understand the problem.
To engineer the right solution.
To stand behind what we deliver.
And to be there when our customers need us most.

After almost 25 years, we're enormously proud of how far Power On Australia has come. But perhaps the most exciting part is that we genuinely believe we're only just getting started.

Thank you to the Local Business Awards, our wonderful team and everyone who has been part of the Power On Australia story.

Power On – always. ⚡

We're incredibly proud to share that Power On Australia has been named a Finalist in the 2026 Brisbane City Local Business Awards!

To be recognised alongside so many outstanding local businesses is a tremendous honour.

Twenty-four years ago, Power On Australia began with just the two of us, operating from our home garage and delivering powerboards and small UPS systems from the boot of our car. Today, we're privileged to design, build and support critical power protection systems that help keep hospitals, mines, utilities, manufacturers, broadcasters and essential infrastructure operating across Australia.

This recognition belongs to our incredible team, whose passion, technical expertise and commitment to our customers make everything we do possible.

We would also like to sincerely thank our loyal customers, trusted suppliers and industry partners for your continued support over the years. Your confidence in Power On Australia has enabled us to grow while staying true to the values on which the business was founded.

Regardless of the final result, being recognised as a finalist is something we are extremely proud of.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey - we're excited about what the future holds.

Some investments don't appear on a balance sheet… but they change lives forever. ❤️

At Power On Australia, we've always believed that success isn't measured solely by the projects we deliver or the milestones we achieve. It's also measured by the difference we can make in our community.

This year, we are incredibly proud to donate $20,000 to the Brainchild Foundation.

Brainchild Foundation provides emotional, educational and financial support to Australian families whose children have been diagnosed with brain and spinal cord tumours, while also helping to fund vital paediatric brain cancer research for better outcomes in the future.

For us, this contribution is deeply personal.

We have had the privilege of knowing the incredible people behind Brainchild Foundation for many years. Their unwavering commitment to supporting other families, even through their own life's challenges, is nothing short of inspiring. They remind us that compassion, resilience and hope can exist side by side.

To everyone involved with Brainchild Foundation - thank you for the remarkable work you do every single day.

If you're looking for a charity that genuinely changes lives, we encourage you to learn more about Brainchild Foundation. Whether it's a donation, fundraising, sharing their message or simply raising awareness, every act of support helps another family facing the unimaginable.

Together, we really can help create better tomorrows.

Last night was one of those rare moments where the weight of 24 years suddenly felt lighter.

Standing in a room filled with the people who are Power On Australia - our team, our partners, our clients, our supporters - I was overwhelmed with emotion.

Building a business is not easy. It’s late nights, tough decisions, resilience, and a whole lot of heart. But nights like A Night of Celebration remind me why we do it. They show the depth of what we’ve created together - not just a company, but a community, a legacy, a story still being written.

To everyone who has walked any part of this journey with us: thank you.
Your belief, your effort, your loyalty, and your passion are the reason Power On Australia continues to grow, evolve, and shine.

Here are a few moments from a beautiful evening that I’ll carry with me for a long time.

Here’s to the next chapter - and to the people who make it all possible.

Awards are the moment people see. The work behind them is where the real story lives.

Last night we had the pleasure of celebrating with the Eaton ANZ Partner Network at the 2026 Eaton Partner Awards — and we’re incredibly proud to share that Power On Australia was awarded Project Partner of the Year.

This recognition means a lot to our team. The project behind this award required persistence, collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering the right outcome for the customer.

Securing the opportunity, working closely with Eaton, and ultimately delivering a successful result was a true partnership effort — and that’s exactly what makes this recognition so meaningful.

The conversations, the planning, the trust placed in our team, and the dedication to delivering something that makes a real impact.

Thank you to Eaton ANZ for the recognition and for the strength of the partnership we continue to build together.

And to our team — this award reflects the standards you bring to every project.

We’re proud of the result, proud of the partnership, and excited for what’s ahead.
