Highland Infrastructure Group and The Harrison Group (Qld) merged on the 1st of July 2014 to become Harrison Infrastructure Group.

Harrison Infrastructure Group is a specialist engineering and project management consultancy providing best practice engineering solutions for the construction of buildings, industrial structures and civil infrastructure projects. We offer design and management services in both structural and civil engineering disciplines.

We had the privilege of attending the 2026 TMR Engineering, Innovation, and Technology Forum at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre💡

Our team explored this year’s theme, “delivering value — where risk and opportunity converge”, over three days of insightful presentations and conversations with fellow industry leaders.

Cameron Penrose, Associate and our Rockhampton Office Manager, shared, “There were very interesting topics covered, ranging from Active Transport, procurement, risk, Geotech, pavement and BHTSP. The highlight of the event was the introductory panel discussion: Shaping the Future of Engineering with Data and AI.”

Our team gained valuable insights from this inspiring event as we continue our focus on sustainability, collaboration and impactful solutions.

As part of our Gold Sponsorship with the UTEC - Unisq Toowoomba Engineering Club, we have the privilege of participating in their club-hosted events like Sip n Share.

Last week, our COO, Denis Manassero, and Senior Associate, Steve Luther, from our Toowoomba Office got the chance to chat with the next generation of engineers. It was a great morning, allowing our team to connect with students and share our industry insights and experience.

Our team, from across our Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Sunshine Coast offices attended three days of innovation, inspiration, and time with the industry’s best. We’re so proud to be part the conversation, with George Wright presenting to the 12d community.

2026 marks a defining milestone for Harrison Infrastructure Group — 30 years of continuous operation, growth, and contribution to the communities and clients we serve. On Wednesday, we officially celebrated 30 Years of HIG!

Our teams across Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Sunshine Coast each celebrated with morning teas, balloons, and excitement for the future.

Our 30 Year journey is not measured simply in projects delivered or kilometres designed, but in the relationships we have built along the way. Our long standing client partnerships, repeat collaborations, and enduring professional respect have been the foundation of our success, and drive.

To our clients and collaborators, we say a huge thank you for everything throughout the years, and we look forward to delivering continued innovative change together.
