SEED Engineers recently supported the development of a new auto village, featuring multiple new and used car showrooms and associated service workshops.

The challenges: Connecting the development to the council’s sewer rising main required careful coordination. Ensuring the correct operation of the rising main meant close collaboration with the civil engineer and the sewer pump station supplier. Pump sizing and selection were critical to maintain the system within council-prescribed limits.

The solution: Our team worked closely with all stakeholders from early design stages to ensure seamless integration of the sewer system, delivering a solution that was both reliable and fully compliant.

The team at SEED Engineers recently completed work on the Logan Village Motel. Here's a quick snapshot:

The challenges: Coordinating new services within a constrained building layout posed several design challenges. For mechanical, the limited ceiling space required precise integration of ceiling-concealed A/C units with structural elements and other building services. On the electrical side, close coordination was essential to ensure that the existing transformer and main switchboard could support the new motel extension. Seamless collaboration across disciplines was critical to resolving these constraints early in the design phase.

The solution: Early coordination across all services resolved potential clashes before construction. Close collaboration with Energex and existing contractors ensured the electrical design was accurate and compliant.
