Hello to All!

We have decided to participate in this years Distinguished Gentleman's Drive, Brisbane, to raise donations for men's health.

We encourage you to register and join in with the drive as well! It is a Worldwide event, currently co-ordinating 179 drives in 56 countries.

Our Mission with Movember
Our focus is to help men lead happier and healthier lives. In particular, we raise funds for cutting-edge research into prostate cancer and mental health programs, as part of our mission to support men’s health globally. These funds are invested by our partner, Movember, which is the world’s largest men’s health organization.

a BIG shout out to Chevelle J Salis and all the volunteers who organised and ran the event today Get Ya Dubs Out' Brisvegas 2026!
We were honoured to be a part of the day, thank you for having us!
Great to catch up with familiar faces and meet many new enthusiasts of the VW marquee.

Recently at the workshop, a pleasure to work on this smartly presented Beck Speedster, complete with tubular chassis as opposed to shortened Type 1 pan. Sorting out a few issues such as misaligned rocker arms & correctly shimming to eliminate excessive axial play of rocker arms, isolating a fuel hose from an adjacent sharp object, removing the plastic fuel filter from above cylinder #4 & replacing with metal item in a cool location, securing fuel hose clamps that were found loose, valve clearances, brake fluid flush, steering box lash adjustment, Dellorto carburettor balance and adjustment of throttle linkages, as well as a general grease / oil service.
A clean and sorted car, exciting to drive, she's a keeper for the owner 🍻👍

Nice little buggy for sale, northern end of the Gold Coast. Owner has moved away, if you DM me, I can put you in touch for any serious enquiries 🍻!

Some notes from the seller...

The floorpan is 63 beetle, cut and shortened back in California.
Engine supposed to be 1300cc with a mild cam, but probably now 1600.
Body is a SandPiper gel coat glassed body from the 70s, close Manx copy.
Disc brakes all round with new master cylinder.
New clutch and accel cables.
Steering wheel retrimmed. Rollbar powder coated and had the rearward extensions added.
New battery and leads.
Added a custom holder for the bigarse JBL speaker. Can sell it with the buggy.
