We are excited to contribute to the important discussions being facilitated through the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) Project Implementation Standing Committee, which brings together industry professionals to examine implementation challenges and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the renewable energy sector.

Having previously held senior leadership roles at , including PwC Africa Transport & Logistics Leader, he has advised governments and organisations on infrastructure investment, project finance, transport reform and large-scale capital projects. Dr Shaw is a recognised industry commentator on freight logistics, ports, supply chains and economic competitiveness.

With more than 40 years of experience in engineering and the built environment, Chris Campbell is one of South Africa's most respected engineering leaders. As CEO of CESA, he has played a significant role in shaping the engineering profession locally and globally, serving in leadership positions including President of ECSA, Vice President of and Vice President of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations. He remains a leading advocate for infrastructure development, transformation and growth within South Africa's built environment sector.
Discussions will focus on key project implementation topics, including EPC challenges, logistics and transportation, permitting requirements, local authority engagement, local content opportunities and emerging technologies.
As South Africa continues to grow its renewable energy sector, strong project implementation will be essential to ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
