This week, Atlassian Williams F1 Team driver Alex Albon Ansusinha visited Komatsu’s Longview facility in Texas. While onsite, Alex experienced an in-depth tour of the facility and got behind the controls of a Komatsu WE1850-3 mining wheel loader. The Komatsu WE1850-3 is a 268-tonne diesel-electric hybrid wheel loader with a massive 59-tonne payload capacity, powered by a 2,000 HP engine and featuring an innovative Kinetic Energy Storage System (KESS). As well as taking part in a Q&A with Komatsu team members, Alex also tested the Immersive Technologies’ PRO5 mining simulator under the guidance of trainers, gaining valuable insights into operator safety and precision. The visit celebrated the partnership between Komatsu and the Atlassian Williams F1 Team, a collaboration focused on creating value together around the world.

Breast cancer continues to affect thousands of people around the world, highlighting the critical importance of awareness, early detection, and support for those affected.
On 23 October, Komatsu Head Office employees came together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a walkathon of approxiamately 2km from Head Office to Reman.
The day also featured fun netball and soccer challenges between departments, creating an atmosphere of energy, teamwork, and solidarity for an important cause.
Together, we proved that raising awareness can be meaningful, impactful, and fun.

The Komatsu Bloemfontein branch hosted a successful Customer Day and Inland Launch of the PC200-10M0CE excavator, welcoming existing and prospective customers from across the Free State and Northern Cape provinces. Guests enjoyed firsthand exposure to a range of Komatsu construction and agricultural equipment and had the opportunity to connect with regional and national Komatsu teams, highlighting the company's commitment to customer partnership and equipment excellence. Although the PC200-10M0 CE was the official star of the event, the GD675 grader received the most attention.
Komatsu Customer Finance Africa representatives were on hand to offer great finance terms.
We are grateful to everyone who gave their time to spend the day with us.
