All that blade cleaning seems to wear down my brushes 😳 can you guess which one is old? 😂

Do you have something similar in your shop that shows its use and needs replaced?

Let’s talk cheap, no name, or Amazon and temu blades for a second.
Out of all the blades pictured I had one branded blade needing correction, ALL but 1 of the knock off blades failed in their test for various reasons. Between poor quality cutters, junk metal being used and an all around lack of quality make these money savers turn into money pits; from being unable to be sharpened to having to pay for replacement cutters, springs and sockets, the savings quickly go away.

Spend the extra money on quality blades, your pocket book, your grooms and your sharpener will thank you.

Here at Caeton Sharpening we want to get your shears back to cutting like new and that requires proper and full sharpening so you can get back to feeling like you’re cutting fur, not trying to chew through it.

Friday fun day for a good laugh. It’s almost the weekend!

There really is no list because that list would be too big to put on here, you would get bored reading it, but somewhere close the top of that list if it were to exist would be “Don’t spend time making silly videos instead of sharpening”, so today I had a little minute so I could ask a question.

For those that find it difficult to stay on task, what work arounds have you found that help you keep on track and get things done?
