The Alto Works is the one we’re letting go.

There’s nothing wrong with it, a 64 PS turbo kei hatch with a five speed is a great time. But the Mira TR-XX and the Vivio RX-R were fighting for that same buyer all through the 90s. The Cappuccino’s roof comes off in three pieces, the AZ-1 puts gullwing doors on a mid-engine kei car, and the Sera has butterfly doors under a glass canopy that Gordon Murray has said gave him the idea for that same feature on the McLaren F1.

Colored lights, a DVD collection, hooks in the ceiling for setting up a makeshift paint booth. The stuff you added yourself is usually what makes a space yours.

Did somebody say S13 coupe? 👀

We just wrapped up a clean Mercedes shoot & already knew it was gonna be a day.

Straight over the Brooklyn Bridge into the city & down to the docks for the next one. ⚓️

Eric's insanely fun S13 was up next, a fun street car built for the local drift community by an avid drifter himself. Honestly, another yellow car? Must've been the year for it haha, but Eric's just got good taste in cars & colors.

The docks are a private venue used for festivals among other things, thankfully Eric works around there so he had an in for us to come shoot there. When he grabbed us & we saw the car sitting there with the water as the backdrop & the city off in the distance, it felt like we unlocked a secret cutscene out of Brooklyn. Talk about a sight to see, honestly. 😮‍💨

This car was NASTY in the best way. The power, the sound, the styling, we were stoked to shoot it. Fitment isn't easy either, Rays 57DR in 17x9 front / 18x9.5 rear at +12, wrapped in Accelera 651 Sport, coilovers, 55mm up front & 25mm out back just to make it fit. Rubbing, trimming, all of it, that's the price of stance this aggressive on an S13.

We only planned one location, until we got the idea to run some rollers through the Brooklyn neighborhoods instead. First real time we'd been out there, & hearing this car scream through the streets was something else, it reminded us why we love doing these shoots.

Ripping through streets & ducking into alleys for the shot was worth the extra hour or two of Brooklyn traffic we got into on the way to get to the next stop & wouldn't trade a second of it.

Gold LMs on a red B5 is a combo that never goes out of style. We’d have picked them for a B5 twenty years ago and we’d still pick them now.

The FR9 needs a big car to sit under, and a widebody Challenger is about as big as it gets.

Ferrada builds the face on two tiers, so the dual forked spokes sit deep and still clear a big brake kit.

Cars we’d put a set on: widebody Chargers, S550 Mustangs, Q50s, and G80 M3s. That spoke pattern needs surface area to read right, so it works best on a wide body with a long fender line. Put it on something small and light and the wheel fights the car.

Package a set with tires at Fitment Industries and the mount, balance, and shipping are on us.

Did you make it out to L’oe Show 2026? 👀

We did, and we’re still talking about it. This one’s going in the “shows we’ll tell people about in five years” folder.

Custom Euro plates as far as the eye could see, what might’ve been the largest Harlequin gathering we’ve ever witnessed, and a downtown stretch that turned into a full-blown VW takeover by the end of the day. 🥳

Certainly one of the most creative, most unique shows we’ve hit all year, no question there.

Hello Pottstown, Pennsylvania 🔔

This entire town turned into a show today. Not one lot, not one street, the whole town split into several stops and every single one hits different.

Talk about a real community driven event, mad props to the entire team with L’oe Show 🔥

Morning started at the GTI 50th anniversary photoshoot. Lines of hot hatches from every generation parked together, old school boxy bodies next to the newest MK8s, a few running some really wild swaps that sound nothing like they look.

From there we rolled to cars & coffee and the lot opened up to the full VAG spread. VR6 beasts parked next to clean daily builds, coffee in hand, we even saw a few W8’s 👀

Last stop was the Audi brewery. Quattro badges everywhere, from B7 RS4’s to the slammed RS6 Avants & everything in-between.

Talked to a couple owners out there, great people and this is just the build up. Sunday is the real reason everyone’s here, downtown, all day, the actual L’oe Show main show.
