A whole town closing its streets for a car show is the best kind of road closure.

That weekend, historic Pottstown, PA turned into one big Euro meet, with over 1,000 show cars lining the streets and free entry for spectators. We spent our time walking past Mk1s, a purple Huracán sitting up on pallets, and a Baja Bug. The dogs were having just as good a time as the rest of us.

If we’re taking a B5 S4 home, we’re taking the Avant. 👀

The S4 sedan sits on a set of 19” Rotiform BLQs wrapped in 225/35 tires, and the mesh faces complement some of the cleanest proportions Audi put out in the late ’90s.

The S4 Avant goes with a set of 18” Rotiform LSRs wrapped in 225/40 tires, and with the wagon’s roof line stretching past the rear wheels, the LSRs help the Avant look long and low from every angle, which is one of the reasons we’re picking the wagon.

The Focus ST is one of the most underrated hot hatches of the 2010s.
banana’s Focus ST runs a livery modeled after the Yellow Edition RedBull, and the Hyper Chrome finish on the Konig Countergrams is a nice contrast against all that yellow. 🍌

The big wing out back gives the hot hatch a more aggressive look by breaking up the body line where the roof meets the hatch.

The car sits static with the slightest bit of tuck, and with a big turbo and full bolt-ons under the hood, this ST is built for spirited street driving as much as car meets.

Ask two Civic owners how they’d build theirs and you’ll get two very different answers. 👀

This shoot is some pretty solid proof of that, so hit that save button if you’re planning an 11th gen Civic build.

The yellow one belongs to Homie, and he didn’t hold back. Satin metallic yellow wrap, new grilles, and air so it can lay out on those ESRs any time he wants.

On the other hand, HatchDaddy_FL1 went the opposite way with his blue Sport Touring. Teins and chrome Anovia Trebles make a clean contrast against the blue without needing anything else on the car.

Put them side by side and neither one is wrong. That’s the best part about building a car.

Our favorite part of this FR-S is how well a classic mesh wheel works on a modern widebody kit. 😌
frs went with a staggered set of Work VS XX, and the mesh faces and deep lips bring a classic look to an otherwise aggressive build. Air Lift Performance lets the FR-S air out until the lips sit perfectly flush to the widebody front and rear.

Wheels: Work VS XX, 18x9.5 -28mm front, 18x11.5 -41mm rear
Tires: Continental ExtremeContact, 215/40 front, 255/40 rear

We’re picking the E36 M3 Lightweight, because BMW built one just for the US after enthusiasts kept asking for a lighter M3. ☺️

The Lotus Carlton was the fastest four-door you could buy in the early ’90s, the Audi Quattro is the car that brought all-wheel drive to rallying, and the 190E is the sedan Mercedes took to DTM to battle the E30 M3.

If we were bagging an FR-S, this is how we’d want the car sitting.

Aired out, ’s Enkei RS05-RRs tuck just inside the fenders, and that fitment is dialed. The -4° of front camber and -6° in the rear looks aggressive parked, but air it up, and this FR-S can be daily driven with no problems.

Our first $3 goes straight to a set of Volk Racing TE37s on this FL5.

A set of bronze TE37s is one of the most iconic looks you can put on a Honda, and the bronze is a nice contrast against the Boost Blue paint.

BC Racing BR Series coilovers take our $2, and we’d fill out the build with a set of Falken RT615K+ tires, an Invidia catback and KTuner V1.2 from the $1 tier.

All three tuners are EPA compliant. Every part on the board is one we’d put on an FL5, so here’s everything broken down by tier.

$1 tier: ESR SR01 wheels, Falken RT615K+ tires, Tein lowering springs, Invidia catback, KTuner V1.2

$2 tier: Kansei Astro wheels, Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ tires, BC Racing BR Series coilovers, Remark catback, Hondata FlashPro

$3: Advan Racing GT / Michelin Pilot Sport 4S / HKS Hipermax S / AWE Touring Edition

We’d go Advan Racing GT, Toyo Proxes Sport, BC Racing BR Series and Tomei Expreme Ti, which comes out to $7 on the dot.

Black Advan GTs on a GR86 are tough to pass up, and once you’ve heard a titanium exhaust on one of these cars, the Tomei was an easy $2.

That left $2 for the BC Racing BR Series and the Toyo Proxes Sport, and honestly, we’d be happy daily driving that combo.
