We are a privately owned company of three generations founded in 1933 and located in the heart of the Midwest, Winsted, Minnesota. While primarily serving the departments of transportation through our pole business, we also offer two other products- Rings and Cylinders and Airfield Ground Lighting. Our Ring and Cylinder business provides various rings and cylinders to OEMs across the US via our non-waste production process. Our Airfield Ground Lighting business produces airport lighting structures serving global equipment distributors and installers in this market. THREE GENERATIONS, ONE CLEAR CHOICE
Robert Quast was a retired farmer looking for work after the war when he joined Millerbernd in the 1950s. His son Bill came on in 1974, the same year his daughter Katie was born, and worked in the original Plant 1 until he retired in 1994. Ironically, that was the same year Katie and Will started full time at Millerbernd, and this year will mark 32-years on the floor for both of them.
