Cleaning stalls isn’t always the favorite chore on the farm, but Jordan enjoys it. Today we sweetened the deal by adding the part where we replace the dirty bedding with brand new, clean shavings. The best part? You get to KICK the brick of shavings to break it up. Now THAT is the new preferred activity!

Learning how to ask the horse to move a certain way is harder than you think. Remembering to pair the verbal command with the body language at the same time requires a lot of mindfulness. In this video, Jordan is doing all of that, plus processing the verbal input I’m giving.
Did I mention today was the first day we added “back up” to the commands???

Super excited to share that the GCP has become a preferred provider for Rise Above Foundation! If there is a child in foster care that would benefit from participating in The Good Citizenship Project, but may not have the funding, reach out to Cassie over at Rise Above!
