With the help of John at Ridgeberry Farm. Union Hardware was able to create some trophies for the Union Fair. Union Hardware has a CNC Machine and can carve small wooden items like what you see in the picture as well as a plasma CNC at Ridgeberry Farm which was used to make the Oxen seen in the picture. If you have a project that you think we can help with come in and see Tim.

Good afternoon, everyone,

We’ve had so many friendly faces stop by Union Hardware recently, and we’ve been so touched by the warm welcome. Since there are some new faces behind the counter, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves—the new family owners of Union Hardware.

We are Tim and Jess Davis, and we feel so lucky to be a part of this community. While Tim has lived in the area for over 20 years, Jess was born and raised right here in the Mid-Coast.

You might recognize Jess from the Appleton Village School, where she has been an ed tech for many years. She’s also deeply involved in our local community sports programs and is always happy to lend a hand at Ridgeberry Farm, the wild blueberry farm owned by her parents, John and Allison Boyington.

Tim is a retired police officer and former K9 Handler. He had the honor of serving the people of Knox County as a Sheriff’s Deputy and later with the Rockland Police Department. His first partner, K9 Marek, served the county and the state of Maine for six years with over 300 deployments. Today, you can often find Tim on the court, as he’s an active basketball coach and official in the area.

Our family wouldn't be complete without our four children—Jonathan,Zoe,Natalia,and Olivia — so don’t be surprised if you see them popping into the store to help out!

We are so grateful to be here. Whether you’re stopping by to pick up supplies for a home project or you’d just like to say hello and share a story, we are here for you. We truly look forward to serving this community and growing alongside all of you.
