Sometimes it's not the big project that sends you to the hardware store, it's that one oddly specific part you can't seem to find anywhere.

That's why we keep plenty of those not-so-everyday items around, too.

Got a lock that's getting harder to turn?

Before you start fighting with the key, or assume the lock needs to be replaced, try giving it a little lubrication!

The important part is using a lubricant made for locks. The wrong product can attract dirt and grime over time and end up making things worse. Lock-specific dry lubricants, such as graphite or dry-film silicone, work best because they don't leave behind an oily residue.

A little maintenance now can help keep your locks turning smoothly and save you some frustration later. 🔒

Every now and then, things just don’t go your way.

Whether it’s a game, a project, or something you thought you had handled, sometimes you run into a situation where the other side just has the upper hand.

It’s not always close, and it doesn’t always feel great, but it’s part of learning, adjusting, and coming back better the next time.
