Another one from the archives this week, back when Hank was demonstrating just how organized things were here at Sparta Hardware… by sitting right in the middle of it all. 😄

“A place for everything and everything in its place” was the idea, making it easier to find what you’re looking for.

And if you still couldn’t find it, well… someone here would track it down for you.

Safe to say, we’ve always tried to keep things in order, even if Hank had his own way of showing it. 😂

Before starting a project, make sure your drill or driver bit is seated all the way in the chuck.

A loose bit can wobble, strip screws, or make a simple job harder than it needs to be.

A quick tighten before you start can save a lot of frustration later.

This time of year, it feels like the project list starts growing pretty quickly.

Yard work, small fixes, things that have been put off for a while, it all starts adding up. 😅

In other words, sometimes it’s better to keep things moving and take steady progress instead of waiting around for something bigger that may or may not come.

Simple, but a good reminder that consistency adds up.

Throwback Thursday with Hank 📼🛠️

Another one from the archives this week, back when Hank and his cousin Matthew were helping sell Snapper mowers at Sparta Hardware. 😄

Matthew made it sound pretty easy, between the low prices and rebates, he figured it was basically a done deal.

Then came the important question… asking Hank which button you push to make it go. 😂

We may not sell mowers anymore, but they were a big part of the store for a long time.

We’ll dig up another blast from the past for you next Thursday. 📼
