Being Evo owners, as all of you are, have went through the same issues. We sported the mini batteries for awhile, but then the battery goes bad, or you get a COLD ass day and your car won't start... I'm in Oklahoma have even had that problem. So I asked myself, "What was the mini battery intended for 1st and foremost?" Aftermarket intercooler piping, more room, and then of course weight reduction. The other, more painful option to cure the cold weather start up or to cure the headache of a failing mini battery was a trunk relocation kit. I too have done this, but find myself over and over wishing that I had the extra trunk space. Well other than a trunk relocation kit there were no other choices..... Now there is. We've came up with a battery kit that will provide you with the power you need when you need it, the batteries come with warranties, AND you can get them readily at NAPA, O'Reilly's, Wal-mart, Federated Auto Parts, etc etc. The batteries range from 60-120 depending on the grade you get. We designed this with everyone in mind. The tray and uprights are aluminum, while the tie down strap with the EFI logo is SS. The kit comes with everything in the pictures. Silicone for the battery to sit on, new bolts and nuts.
