Some projects define a company's history.

In 2005, Taylor Crane & Rigging completed the transportation and installation of a 334,000-pound turbine generator for Fairbanks Morse Engine Co., moving it from Manhattan, Kansas, to Clay Center, Kansas. The project earned the prestigious SC&RA Rigging Job of the Year Award, recognizing the engineering, planning, and ex*****on behind one of our most significant accomplishments.

From custom-engineered rigging solutions and a 600-ton jacking system to the precise installation of the generator, every step reflected the values that continue to define TCR today—safety, innovation, and excellence.

Did you know? The very first 40/60 Versa-Lift, built in 1994, was designed specifically for Jim Taylor of Taylor Crane & Rigging. Its success helped launch what would become the Versa-Lift product line.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Taylor Crane & Rigging will be closed Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, May 26th at 7:00 AM.
