South Bristol Fishermen's Co-op

South Bristol Fishermen's Co-op The South Bristol Fisherman’s Co‑op has anchored this Maine village since 1972.

Our community is shaped by its working waterfront—boats leaving before dawn, traps hauled through sleet and spray, and the people who face the Atlantic in all its moods.

With pogie season just around the corner, Andy and Josh were busy this morning rigging the mast and boom aboard Betty Lew. Andy joked that the entire rig is held together with zip ties, though I find that a little hard to believe.

A beautiful summer morning on the harbor ☀️

Arthur's “King” Charles Cavalier, Chesney, is taking in the sights and smells 🐾

The patio's open if you'd like to do the same with a lobster roll, a glass of wine, and a harbor view 💙

A little maintenance aboard Old Glory this morning.

If you've spent any time around the harbor, you know Brian. Quite possibly the most cheerful person on the planet.

Many happy returns.

Returning customers, returning boats, and another summer day taking shape around the co-op.

Shayne moving his float and skiff for a mooring inspection, engine work aboard the Katie and Sarah, and one of our regular summer customers stopping by with six friends to enjoy lunch by the harbor.

We're glad to see familiar faces back again. ❤️
