Our only November anniversary is Dave Syverson!
Dave has worked at Syverson Tile & Stone since November of 1993. He has worn many hats including sales, saw operator, Fab Shop Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Vice President. Dave's favorite work memory is the SFA Italy tour in 2015. In his spare time, Dave is a soccer dad/grandad, likes to travel (probably mostly for soccer!), and golf. One fun fact about Dave is he is always willing to embarrass himself at a Karoke Bar. If anyone has a Karoke machine we can borrow to test this out, please let us know!
Thanks for your 33 years at Syverson tile and Stone!!

And we have another 38 year anniversary, Dennis Mehlbrech! Dennis started with Syverson Tile in 1988 as an installer helper, moved to the warehouse/brickyard, then managed the brick division for 8 years. When the brick division was sold, Dennis took over as the Eastern SD/Southwest MN outside sales rep, and he has been filling display racks ever since! Dennis likes working with our dealers to keep them informed of the latest products and installation methods. He says all of the friendships he has made over the years are priceless. To quote Dennis "The Syverson family has always treated me like family", and he thanks Ray Syverson for taking a chance on hiring him back in 1988. Thank you Dennis for your dedication to Syverson Tile and Stone!!

Still thinking about last night, as we received the 2026 Boyd Hopkins, Sr Excellence in Family Business Award from the Prairie Family Business Association. It was an honor to receive this prestigious award, with some former and current employees there to celebrate with us. We are grateful for our employees over the years, who have helped make Syverson Tile and Stone what it is today.
