We’ve called a lot of places home in Milwaukee over the years, but none of them were truly ours. Each office represented a chapter of growth, from a small team with big goals to the collaborative firm we are today.

Now, for the first time, we’re building a space designed around our people, our culture, and the way we work together.

The road to purchasing an office space has been years in the making, and we’re excited to finally share the journey.

Progress is taking shape at Camp Evergreen’s Natatorium.

Our team is excited to see this space come to life in partnership with Quasius Construction, Inc. From early planning through construction, this project has been focused on creating a durable, high-performing aquatic facility that supports the camp’s mission for years to come.

As we wrap up , we’re excited to highlight a program that brings creativity and learning to life in a hands-on way: Cardboard Creations at Above & Beyond Children's Museum 📦✨

In this program, kids and caregivers design imaginative cardboard builds while exploring early design and math concepts like symmetry, shape, and spatial reasoning through play. It is learning through doing, and creativity in its most natural form.

At Abacus Architects, we see a clear connection between experiences like this and the work we do every day. Architecture starts with curiosity, problem solving, and the ability to turn ideas into something tangible.
