Knocked out a pretty tech little roof mount generator install for a govt. contracted research boat. This was actually a bit of a head scratcher in the engineering department but we got her squared away and she’s ready to roll.

Big projects are keeping us plenty busy but we always try to make time the smaller jobs too so don’t hesitate to reach out for any boat work you need done for the upcoming season and we’ll see what we can do to make it happen

Got a couple sneak peak shots of the 20’ cat. We’re pulling out all the stops on this one, she’s a work of art. We’re just finishing up the trim and some detail work, then we’re on to windshield and , graphics, and wrapping up the rigging. Hoping to hit the water towards the end of May so stay tuned, she’s gonna be a head turner!

Knocked out a cool little tophouse job for a Bristol bay Gillnetter just in time for the barge. The customer sent us over a pile of photos and roof measurements from his current flybridge boat. From there we did a quick model of the boat, added the tophouse and got approval, and got her done. Anyone thinking of adding a tophouse to your bay boat, we’re your shop. Just get some good photos and dimensions and get with us after the season and we’ll get ya taken care of.

The guys knocked out a little hardback with slider door on this weldcraft to replace the old worn out canvas. The customer was having a pretty bad rodent problem in the winter so we kept the fits tight and made curtain plates around all the nooks and crannies and got her all sealed up.

The small jobs have been finding us as fast as we can get them done but we’ve been making good progress on the cat and just started out in-house design 35’ sport boat so we have some cool new construction starting to take shape. Progress pics coming soon

To all the Bristol bay guys out there, we’re stoked to finally have the time and resources to refine our 32’ designs and get them looking the way we want. We’ve built a few turn key bay boats now (a few different designs) and we took what we liked from all of them and got rid of the stuff we didn’t. We have a couple pretty cool starts here for what would be a pretty rad platform. We have a traditional top house stern picker with mast, a flybridge tophouse with a radar arch for visibility, and our take on a twin engine thrupicker.

We pretty much got our start with Bristol bay and since things slowed down a bit, we’ve missed that part of our customer base. Hoping everyone has a good season coming up and we can build some more of these things!

The boys knocked out this sweet little upgrade for the guys over at the Port of Kalama on their old workboat. The motor used to be hooked straight on the transom with a weird cutout that would flood the back deck any time they reversed or took a wave. We capped the old transom, built a new bracket and moved the motor back, built a custom engine guard, installed a new fuel tank and aft deck patch, and gave the whole boat a rewire job. Should do the trick
