A family tradition for 83 years, Witzco Trailers continues its commitment to the production of high quality equipment and outstanding customer service. The company--originally named IR Witzer Co.--was founded in 1938 by Israel and Rebecca Witzer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a steel fabrication plant. Through their dedication to delivering an outstanding product, IR Witzer became a success and

consequently grew to become a larger company. Israel and Rebecca’s dream of a successful family business unfolded as the generations that followed them involved themselves in the company. Under their guidance, their children and grandchildren not only learned the art of steel fabrication, but also how to run the business and what it stood for. In 1979, the family relocated their operations to a more temperate climate in Florida. With that move came a new facility and aspirations. As the economic environment became difficult in the early 1980’s, IR Witzer took on new challenges. With much thought and deliberation, the manufacture of their new product line was on the way, lowboy trailers. In 1997, IR Witzer Company began operation under the new title of Witzco Trailers Incorporated, manufacturing the Witzco Challenger Trailer. Ten years later the company expanded, TrailCo Parts International was started. Today, Witzco supplies an extensive selection of trailer and transport parts. Now, a little more than 8 decades later, Witzco is still family owned and run.

This NGB-40 CS BR (80K capacity) is a California Special KPRA (Kingpin-to-Rear-Axle) compliant trailer, engineered to meet California regulations without compromising performance.

Built with a 36" self-cleaning beavertail, 24" × 60" all-steel self-cleaning manual ramps, Cush air suspension, covered wheels, front flip ramps with flush bed hooks, and a 21' load well, this trailer is designed to handle demanding jobs with confidence.

During a recent trip to Minnesota and North Dakota, Witzco Challenger Trailers President Josh Weinstein had the opportunity to visit two of our longtime dealers, Larson Semi Trailer Sales and Valley Brake Service.

Both Larson Semi Trailer Sales and Valley Brake Service have been valued members of the Witzco family for many years. It was great to spend time with their teams, catch up on business, and see firsthand the dedication they bring to serving customers in their communities.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Trey Russell, Director of Sales at EMCO Industries, and Rod Dixon, Account Executive at TRP International, LLC, to Witzco Challenger Trailers in Sarasota, Florida. It was great to have EMCO visit our facility and see firsthand how their American-made leaf springs are used in our American-made trailers.
Josh Weinstein also recently visited EMCO’s manufacturing facility in Claremore, Oklahoma, where he had the opportunity to tour their plant, see the production process, and learn more about the craftsmanship behind the leaf springs used in our trailers.
We truly value strong partnerships like this and are proud to build trailers using quality American-made components.
