This week, we’re celebrating the architects and designers who bring meaningful spaces to life, including our work on the Federalsburg Health Center. This modern facility expands medical, dental, and school‑based health services across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Designed with patient comfort at its core, the center incorporates calming design elements such as abundant natural light and murals of familiar places in Caroline County, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the community it serves.

Exciting amenities are on the horizon for Kingfisher, a new community by Beazer Homes, offering single-family and villa homes to coastal Delaware 🏠🌊

GMB designed the community’s future clubhouse, mail kiosk, and monumental sign. The clubhouse features a pool, fitness room, meeting space, bathrooms, and a kitchen, all envisioned to support a vibrant neighborhood experience. GMB is also providing civil engineering design services for the entire development.

We’re proud to share that our team has been recognized with an American Council of Engineering Companies of Delaware Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the “Resilience Under Pressure: Lewes Canal Water Main Replacement Project.” 🏆

This project was critical in strengthening the Lewes Board of Public Works’ beachside water system, providing much-needed redundancy and increasing capacity to support future demand. What began as a complex infrastructure upgrade quickly escalated into an emergency response when an unexpected water main break occurred at an existing canal crossing.

Faced with tight right-of-way constraints, coordination with DelDOT standards, and challenging HDD connections, our team, alongside the BPW, regulatory agencies, Teal Construction, Inc. and other contractor partners, came together through strong collaboration to deliver a solution.

The result: a project completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the Lewes community.

We’re honored to be recognized for this work and grateful to everyone who made it possible.
