Take a look at this custom laser mount the crew made to mount on the front of a dozer to easily check grade.

🔘made out of 1/2” thick plate
🔘2x2 square stock
🔘cut 4ft tall leaving you plenty of adjustment
🔘capped & welded off at the end to prevent weathering from the inside out
🔘painted to prevent rust and ensure longevity

The crew is hitting it hard once again this week, check it out❗️

We took on this dump body and here’s how it turned out📣

🔘floor of the bed cracked and peeling back
🔘door chains broken/missing
🔘passenger side swing gate missing a latch for locking pin to secure.

📍here’s what we did to accommodate this

First we cut back the floor where it was cracked and peeling up. We then dug out all the dirt and debris that was trapped under the floor preventing the floor from sitting back flush and catching material as it was being dumped.

Once cleaned out we welded the floor of the bed back and grind high spots in the bed back down smooth to help prevent any material from catching as they’re removed from the bed.

Next we added a piece of 1/2” thick plate and drilled a 5/8” hole to allow the door latch pin to drop in smoothly and secure the swing gate ensuring no loaded material comes missing during travel.

We also added chains welded to the swing gate and the door pins to ensure they won’t go missing, following hooks added to the side of the dump bed to allow you to safely and securely open and latch the swing gate without having to worry about it swinging back shut.

When push comes to shove and you shove it right off you know who to call📣

The crew took on this project this week of reattaching an ear to the front of the blade off this dozer. With heavy machinery comes some heavy work and we are here to keep you going time and time again.👍🏻

🔘first we cut off the old/damaged welds and prepped the surface on the blade.
🔘we then laid out the ear to match the existing ear on the opposite side of the blade and measured it out for attachments to be used.
🔘once everything was in place, squared, and tacked up we added 2x2 angle to beef it up and ensure this won’t happen again.
🔘once finished we prepped the opposite ear as well and added 2x2 angle for reinforcement so this problem won’t occur on the opposite side.

R&R scapes and maintenance is ready to put this dozer back to work❗️

📍The week just started and the boys are coming in hot and heavy with this one, check it out❗️

📣The task at hand today, fixing up this bucket off a skid steer and a little TLC on the trailer hauling it.

🔘This bucket had torn through across the bottom from heavy use and back dragging, rather then calling it quits and trashing the bucket the weldworx crew was able to cut and weld plate to add strength and life back to this bucket. Welding out around the entire plate and welding the inside of the bucket where the torn metal was pushing up to ensure no dirt or moisture gets trapped between the bad and now repaired metal to help prevent rust and rot. We then took off and flipped the wear plate on the front of the bucket and fastened it back on using 1/2” hardware so this skid steer is ready for its next project at hand.

🔘The Trailer just needed a little TLC where over time the fenders have been banged up and welds have cracked so the crew properly grind all the welded down and went back over them to dress it all up and ensure safe travels to the next job site.

📣Custom tailgates to fit your needs‼️

The WeldWorx crew fabricated two identical tailgates tailored to these two customers needs.
Both of these Ram trucks haul bumper pull campers on the weekend along with golf carts in the bed of the trucks. Don’t let your factory tailgate cut it to close for comfort to the tongue jack or the front of your camper❗️

🔘these tailgates are fabricated out of 1 inch box tube steel and custom cut to your width of your bed, and come out to 14” outside to outside measurement, making them a perfect fit for your golf cart tires to sit on securely while traveling down the road.
🔘factory truck bed hinges are utilized.
🔘galvanized metal tailgate straps are installed rather than your typical cable.
🔘tailgates are painted black for a nice finished product.

📌Today’s task at hand for the crew

🔘We had the opportunity to fab up this stainless exhaust tip on this gorgeous Cummins for our client.
🔘This stainless tip had a little weight to it so we went ahead and welded it out completely just as we always do to ensure there will be no failure down the road ahead from vibration or bumps during travels.
🔘some may say a few tacks would of been sufficient but we like to give our customers peace of mind, with not having to worry about a thing.

📣Check out this massive 53’ trailer the crew took on this week‼️

📌The hydraulic jack got snagged during travels and bent the frame, here’s what we did to fix it…

🔘 Cut out bad/damage section of frame✅
🔘 Replace with new 6x2” frame rail✅
🔘 Add stiffener from new frame rail located directly behind the hydraulic jack tying it into the next frame rail directly behind it to ensure this won’t happen again and adding strength✅
