Special thank you PA State Rep. Jeremy Shaffer for his continued support of our Pennsylvania community pharmacies!

If we move to a single payer pharmacy benefit manager with actual costs and transparent practices this will be a huge win for patients and for pharmacies to improve quality, prevent high rates of pharmacy closures, and reduce costs! Other states have shown that and the state can use that transparency to ensure contracts with fair reimbursement and also to prevent the (healthcare plans & pbms) higher costs being passed to Pennsylvanians! I am one of many pharmacists speaking up on this issue because as your local pharmacists we care about our patients first and we want to continue to be there for you!

I always enjoy getting visitors while having session in Harrisburg. This week I was pleased to welcome members of the PA Pharmacist group including: Kaitlyn Sullivan owner of Palmer Pharmacy and Tony King a PR grad and Duquense Pharmacy student. It was very good talking about issues facing PA Pharmacists and how I can help. I am proud to be a cosponsor House Bill 2270 to help reduce costs with PBMs.
