Some roads aren’t meant to be perfectly smooth.

These historic brick streets in Aspinwall, PA have carried generations of residents, workers, streetcars, and traffic for well over a century.

Aspinwall itself was incorporated in 1892, and much of the borough’s early development took place in the decades that followed. Many of its brick streets remain as a reminder that lasting things are built one piece at a time.

Just like these bricks, progress isn’t always straight. There are dips, curves, and bumps along the way. The key is to keep moving forward.

Monday reminder: Great things aren’t built overnight—they’re built one brick, one step, and one day at a time.

A little Pittsburgh history built into the ballpark.

The 406 FT marker outside PNC Park marks the approximate spot where Bill Mazeroski’s legendary 1960 World Series-winning home run cleared the wall at Forbes Field. When the new ballpark was built decades later, this piece of history wasn’t forgotten—it was measured, preserved, and built into the next generation.

Just like in construction, the best projects respect the work that came before them.
