Production Worker/Assembler – Richland, MS
$15/hour starting pay, Benefits, PTO, and 401K
We are seeking a Production Worker/Assembler to become an integral part of our team! As a Production Worker/Assembler you will work on our production floor, performing different types of parts assembly.
Responsibilities:
• Duties are performed under limited supervision.
• This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
• Make sure that schedules are being run exactly as they are listed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in production area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instruction sheets.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
