We are looking to hire a new shop maintenance mechanic. Must have experience performing maintenance on mechanical / fabrication equipment. Pay is DOE.

We are also looking to hire another experienced HVAC service technician. Pay is DOE.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Theron Lamont “Monte” Lewis. Lamont began his HVAC career installing furnaces for Montgomery Ward and LuxAir heating & Air in Pocatello. In 1965 he moved his family to Idaho Falls and began working for Bingham Mechanical, then Marcum Mechanical. In 1984 he started Lewis Mechanical with his brother and two sons. This venture grew to be one of the largest mechanical contractors in the northwest. Lamont was a master of his craft and was often paired up with the new young guys because of his strong ability to teach and mentor. He retired in 2000. He was well respected and loved by those who knew him.

this week is from 2013. This project had its own set of hurdles in order to qualify for Platinum level LEED Construction which it received certification on. Design teams must incorporate strict standards in their designs and contractors must follow the design criteria and reporting to a "T". It was also awarded the ENR Regional and National Greenest project.

This Throw Back Thursday were going back to 2009. This 10 foot diameter duct is installed in the BYU-I Auditorium. Not only did this project have some of the largest duct we have ever installed it also had one of the most complex duct layout requirements.
